Light Weight
At only 56grams per strap Aquastraps are far lighter than bulky
windsurfer straps and probably lighter than any other footstrap
available today. If you are looking for the best performance from your
boat it makes sense to choose lightweight footstraps.
Non-absorbent
Aquastraps weigh practically the same wet or dry. Neoprene, webbing and
foam padded straps all soak up water which can increase their weight
considerably.
Some neoprene and padded straps can double or triple their weight when
wet!
Shape retention
Aquastraps retain their shape. Even when trodden on or squashed, the
straps will instantly pop back into shape. With the secure pop-rivet or
screw fixing methods the straps will always be in the same place for
you to slip you foot into without losing concentration and valuable
seconds 'searching' for the strap.
Quick in/out
The soft elastomer (rubber like) covering is not just for comfort. The
grade of material and rib pattern was chosen specifically, after
extensive testing, to provide the best grip when under tension and the
best release when not. Resulting in effortless insertion and retraction
of the foot but superb support and control when your foot is engaged in
the strap.
